thomas sadoski-2Sadoski began his career in theatre in his role as an understudy for Mark Ruffalo (Mark Rosenthal) in the Off-Broadway production of the Second Stage Theatre of Kenneth Lonergan's critically acclaimed play This is Our Youth. This was his first of many productions produced by the theatre company based in New York. He has appeared in a variety of Off-Broadway and Broadway productions. He has also been in numerous regional theatre productions. Along with Alison Pill, he played the role of Greg in Neil LaBute's production of the play Reasons to Be Pretty at the MCC Theatre. The play was highly acclaimed Off-Broadway play that was a huge success and sold to the max. In April of 2009, it moved to Broadway and received three Tony Award nominations: Best Actor: Sadoski; Best Actress: Marin Ireland; Best Play and three Drama Desk Award nominations: Best actor Best Director Terry Kinney and Best Actor. [6] Neil LaBute gives credit to Sadoski for the noted shift in the tone of being attractive that was influenced by his earlier plays. "His own thoughtfulness is a blessing, as is his heartfelt and thoughtfulness. It also helps me to not rely on anything I'd previously done," he said. My plays are dark. In 2011, he performed the role of Trip Wyeth in Jon Robin Baitz's Other Desert Cities for which he won an Obie Award and Lucille Lortel Award. Sadoski is also seen on Broadway with Ben Stiller, Edie Falco, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Alison Pill in John Guare's House of Blue Leaves
