Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The shadows she saw in the grass inspired her to develop an approach that however, did not paint the selected object onto canvas. This way, the object is turned into an image. This is particularly true with living objects or objects that die like fruit or human beings. Alexa Meade's works are fleeting, but the photo is the only thing that remains. The painting and photography techniques are closely coordinated and result in a flat, two-dimensional space that achieves trompe l'oeil. The only areas of the photo like hair and eyes, show the third dimension. Meade will sometimes integrate her painted model into the three-dimensional surroundings around it that allows her to work within the context of their own. The boundaries between performance, installation, photography and painting is thus broken.
