Angela Sun was born in Santa Clara County, California on the 19th of October, 1979. She is a American journalist and sportscaster. She is also a documentary film maker and television host. Her education includes Sociology and Communication from the University of California. Sun was a pro at surfing. After taking part in a handful of pro-am surfer contests, she was offered sponsorship by Roxy Reef Billabong Vans and other big companies. Her career was initiated into entertainment because of the recognition she was awarded. Then, she went into the field of film director, investigative reporter and sportscaster. Sun was a reporter for several news channels, primarily in the role of anchor. She worked for Fox Sports Net as a reporter in 2003. She was host of American Ninja Warrior along with Matt Iseman in 2012. Sun was host of The Yahoo Sports Minute from the year 2014 until 2015. She's the first Asian American personality to be featured in the ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun has appeared in a variety of movies, and her skills as an actor have been praised and lauded. Sun has appeared in films like Goliath (2016) Hit the Floor ( 2014-2016) A Perfect Getaway ( 2009) Shackled (2005) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). Sun released Platic Paradise : The Great Pacific Garbage Patch which is an documentary she wrote and composed herself.
