Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast born March 14, 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. She is considered by many to be among the top gymnasts. Biles was a U.S. female gymnast, Biles was the only one to achieve four golds in the same Games during the 2016 Olympics. She is also the first person to win three world championships in succession. Biles grew up within Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area following the time she and her younger sister Adria had been adopted by parents Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone began to take the sport of gymnastics seriously as a six-year-old in a school field trip to Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach over the following eleven years. Biles achieved a silver medal at vaulting in the year 2010 as well as a bronze at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships. She then moved up to the level of elite competition in 2011. In just two short years, she was the most successful athlete in her discipline. What stood Biles out was her consistency her flamboyant attitude and the high degree of challenge she integrated into her routines throughout the four events she competed in: vault uneven bars balance beam and floor workout.

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco was born in Canada. She is American. Over 20 albums have been made available by her. DiFranco classifies her music under the terms folk-rock and alternative, but it also has influences from hip-hop, punk and jazz.
